In 1967, Kathrine Switzer was the first woman to run the Boston marathon. After realizing that a woman was running, race organizer Jock Semple went after Switzer shouting, “Get the hell out of my race and give me those numbers.” However, Switzer’s boyfriend and other male runners provided a protective shield during the entire marathon. The photographs taken of the incident made world headlines, and Kathrine later won the NYC marathon with a time of 3:07:29. I think one of the reasons why God hasn’t given me a partner yet is that, he doesn’t want that someone to get hurt because I can’t give her my focus at this point in my life. Knowing I have to balance my priorities. And I can’t afford to hurt the one I love, and who loves me in return.

I love it when you say
If all girls started Wearing no make up and comfortable clothes,
Guys will have no choice but to Fall for girls because of natural beauty.I mean seriously, what about the guys who don’t feel that way. You CHOSE to put on make-up, no one made you. If you didn’t want…
We talked ceaselessly about how close we were, how perfect our connection was, like we were the first people in history to ever get it exactly right.
the choice
by Max Lucado
IT’S QUIET. It’s early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is coming.
In a few moments the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise of the day. The calm of solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace of the human race. The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by decisions to be made and deadlines to be met.
For the next twelve hours I will be exposed to the day’s demands. It is now that I must make a choice. Because of Calvary, I’m free to choose. And so I choose.
a timeless icon..
To sum it all up, if you want to write, if you want to create, you must be the most sublime fool that God ever turned out and sent rambling.
You must write every single day of your life.
You must read dreadful dumb books and glorious books, and let them wrestle in beautiful fights inside your head, vulgar one moment, brilliant the next.
You must lurk in libraries and climb the stacks like ladders to sniff books like perfumes and wear books like hats upon your crazy heads.
I wish for you a wrestling match with your Creative Muse that will last a lifetime.
I wish craziness and foolishness and madness upon you.
May you live with hysteria, and out of it make fine stories—science fiction or otherwise.
Which finally means, may you be in love every day for the next 20,000 days. And out of that love, remake a world.

13th Note to All Girls Out There
Never settle. You may think that you aren’t gorgeous, too clumsy, not too smart and have many little insecurities. Time will come that this one special person will love you for who you are. You are beautiful, in your own special way, so never lower your standards. I promise, you’ll be happy someday.
One day, there will come a point that you have to stop texting that person. You just have to stop answering phone calls. You have to stop dreaming and going back to the person who is wrong for you. There will be another person and that person will be better. Someone you truly deserve. But first, you just have to learn how to let go of the past.
